February 2021 Technique Blog Hop

Header

Hello!  Welcome to the February 2021 Technique Blog Hop.  This month's theme is Mock Croc.  This was a new technique for me and is one I will be using again!  Thanks for visiting us today.

To make the Mock Croc, take a 4" x 5.25" piece of Basic Black card stock.  '

Use your Versa Mark ink pad and stamp the pad directly onto your card stock.  Leave approximately 1.5 " unstamped so you can hold your paper while you use your Heat Tool.

Assemble your card.  For this card, I used the following card stock and Designer Series Paper:

5.5" x 8.5" Melon Mambo card stock, scored at 4.25"

4" x 5.25" Basic Black cardstock

4" x 5.25" Basic White (inside of card)

2" x 5.25" True Love Designer Series Paper

Using your Paper Snips, cut out one of the large flowers from the True Love Designer Series Paper.  Color the image with Stampin' Blends (Melon Mambo, Old Oliver, and Daffodil Delight).

Stamp your greeting and punch or die cut.  I used the Meant to Be stamp set from the Annual Catalog and the Double Oval Punch from the January - June Mini Catalog for my sentiment.  Adhere your sentiment and flower image to the card front using Dimensionals.
