March 2021 Technique Blog Hop - Masked Grid Technique
March 18, 2021
Welcome March 2021 Technique Blog Hop! I am so excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow demonstrators. This month's theme is the Masked Grid Technique. I can't wait to show you my projects!
Here is a step by step guide to complete this technique.
Use a sticky note to block of an area of card stock. Use your blending brushes to add color to the background. Do not remove the sticky note. Stamp images on the area you just colored.
Using the same sticky note, cover up the area you just colored and stamped. I like to leave just a tiny bit of the color edge showing . Add another sticky note to create the next space that you will color and stamp.
Repeat these steps until you have filled in your card stock.
Once you have completed these steps, you will have something that looks like the picture below. Change the angle of the sticky notes, make some spaces bigger than others. Use sentiments as well as images. Shapes and background stamps work well with this technique too.
The picture below shows the different look you get simple by changing how you place the sticky notes on card stock.
Thank you for hopping to my site and checking out my projects! If you see things you love, please contact your demonstrator to place your order. If you do not have a demonstrator (in the United States), I would be happy to help you!
